Today marks one year since David Bowie's untimely passing at the age of 69. In honor of the first-year anniversary, his widow, supermodel Iman, paid a subtle tribute in photos.

She shared a picture on Instagram this afternoon of a double rainbow over the New York City skyline, noting the date of the singer's death, January 10, 2016, in the caption. She added in hashtags like #ForeverAndEver #ForeverLove #BowieForever, which she's included in recent posts in memory of her late husband.

On January 8th, which would have been Bowie's 70th birthday, she shared a sketch of the music legend as a boy.

Iman, who was married to Bowie for 24 years, has kept fairly private after her husband's death last year, but amidst the memorial photos, she's also been posting inspirational quotes that seem to allude to her situation. Most recently, she shared one that read, "If there is any substitute for love, it is memory."

Last September, the supermodel made her first public appearance since Bowie's death and opened up about his passing for the first time. "It's been a tough year, but I'm holding up," she said at the Tom Ford show at NYFW, where she was seen wearing a "David" necklace. "I'm wearing this until my death," she said of the jewelry.
