As protests continue over President Trump's immigration ban, Jennifer Lawrence has made it clear that she is vehemently against it—and that what he is doing does not represent all of America.

"My broken heart goes out to the innocent lives of Muslim refugees that are trying to escape terror and find safety for their families," she began on Facebook. "I and millions of Americans understand that someone's race or religion should never keep them in harm's way. It should be every person's duty to help and protect anyone, no matter their nationality. I pray for sanity and compassion to return to the Whitehouse [sic]."

Lawrence has spoken out against Trump before and wrote a column after his election urging others to rise up. "Do not let this defeat you—let this enrage you! Let it motivate you! Let this be the fire you didn't have before. If you are an immigrant, if you are a person of color, if you are LGBTQ+, if you are a woman—don't be afraid, be loud!" she wrote then.
