Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with Donald Trump for the first time on Monday and left the world in anticipation as the two leaders, who hold vastly different political views, came head-to-head.
One thing no-one expected to happen? An incredibly awkward photograph of Trump reaching for Trudeau's hand while his Canadian counterpart looks ~*unimpressed*~ to say the least. While the actual handshake that followed the split second of confusion was way more enthusiastic than the image suggests, that didn't stop Twitter from running full force to make #TrudeauMeetsTrump the latest meme of 2017.
