Yesterday Justin Bieber got his own musical memo from The Weeknd, taunting him about the fact The Weeknd is now dating his on-off ex Selena Gomez, and Bieber is sore about it (choice lyric: "I just took that chick, and I know you feelin' some way, oh yeah/She just want a n–a like me, you feelin' some way, way, way, yeah").

This morning, Gomez herself released her latest song with Kygo, "It Ain't Me." And it appears to be her way of saying things are absolutely, positively done between her and the Biebs.

Gomez cowrote the single, which includes lyrics about all she did for the guy she met when she was 17 (Gomez and Bieber met in 2009, when she was that age) and won't do anymore.

Below, the lyrics, annotated:

I had a dream

We were sipping whiskey neat

Highest floor, The Bowery

And I was high enough

Somewhere along the lines

We stopped seeing eye to eye

Bieber himself conceded in December 2015 that the two had grown apart. "I just want her to be happy. I love [Selena]. We're friends still. We needed time to grow for ourselves and we were like, 'Maybe we'll come back together in the future,' and then it ended up being so long and we just grew apart and we're not the same people anymore."

You were staying out all night

And I had enough

No, I don't wanna know where you been or where you're going

Bieber told Us Weekly in November 2015 that he considered Gomez to be his "homie." "[We don't talk] every day, but every now and then she hits up my phone. Well, I hit hers too." He also told Access Hollywood that month that Gomez "is someone I love dearly. I'm never going to stop loving her. I'm never going to stop checking in on her. I don't think if you end a relationship, you should end that, unless it was super toxic and you guys were hurting each other physically or mentally." In September 2016, a "source" told Us Weekly that Gomez had changed her number and told people not to give it to him.

But I know I won't be home

And you'll be on your own

Chorus:

Who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning?

Who's gonna rock you when the sun won't let you sleep?

Who's waking up to drive you home when you're drunk and all alone?

Who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning?

It ain't me

It ain't me

It ain't me

It ain't me

In one of her final interviews on Bieber, Gomez told W magazine in February 2016: "I'm so exhausted. I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can't do it anymore."

I had a dream

We were back to seventeen

Bieber and Gomez were introduced by their managers in 2009. Gomez was just 17.

Summer nights and the liberties

Never growing up

I'll take with me the Polaroids and the memories

But you know I'm gonna leave behind the worst of us

Bieber and Gomez were on-off throughout their relationship—and still had drama up until last August, when Gomez's Instagram comment on Bieber's photos with then-fling Sofia Richie sparked a comment fight between them that got pretty ugly. (Gomez initially wrote, "If you can't handle the hate, then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol. It should be special between you two only." Bieber responded, "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way.") Gomez took time off to focus on her lupus-induced anxiety and depression shortly thereafter, and Bieber quit Instagram.

Fidelity had been an issue for the two throughout their official relationship, with Bieber suggesting to i-D magazine in November 2015 that their final, big break-up in 2014 stemmed from him cheating on Gomez ("It's like trust and all this other stuff that starts messing with your mind. You're on the road. And there are beautiful women on the road. And you're just getting yourself into trouble…").

Chrous:

Who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning?

Who's gonna rock you when the sun won't let you sleep?

Who's waking up to drive you home when you're drunk and all alone?

Who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning?

It ain't me

It ain't me, no no

It ain't me, no no

It ain't me, no no

Who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning?

It ain't me

It ain't me

It ain't me
