After being named the Humanitarian of the Year by Harvard University, Rihanna has wasted no time in resuming her philanthropic work. The singer announced today that she'll host her third Diamond Ball to benefit her Clara Lionel Foundation this fall in New York City.
Rihanna established the fundraising event in 2014 and hosted it again in 2015. The second installment raised over $3 million for the singer's organization, which promotes education for underprivileged children around the world. After holding the gala in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, the superstar is bringing her event to the East Coast the third time around.
"New York always offers the perfect backdrop for an amazing event, which is why I am thrilled to have Diamond Ball there," the singer said in a statement. "It's a great way to celebrate the Clara Lionel Foundation's accomplishments as well as bring awareness to our mission globally. I know it'll be a night to remember!"

The Diamond Ball has previously seen guest speakers like Brad Pitt and Kevin Hart, and performances by Lionel Richie and Rihanna herself. Expect this year's event to be just as star-studded, if not more.
This year's Diamond Ball takes place on September 14 at Cipriani Wall Street.
