Amal Clooney continued her crusade against ISIS today. The human rights lawyer spoke at Chatham House (the Royal Institute of International Affairs) in London this afternoon, urging world leaders to hold the Islamic State accountable for "the worst crimes of our generation," The Guardian reports. In order to do so, Clooney explained that evidence from ISIS crimes and atrocities need to be immediately collected in order to rightfully prosecute the terrorist group.

"All of this evidence is going to be lost if it's not collected soon," the attorney cautioned. "Mass graves are being contaminated as relatives dig for remains of their loved ones. Documents are not being gathered. Witnesses are being dispersed around the world. They are increasingly reluctant to to speak about these cases."

Clooney also advocated for the Yazidi people, the target demographic of ISIS' genocide in Iraq and Syria, and victims of crimes such as murder, rape, slavery and the training of child soldiers.

"I believe that the crimes committed by Isis in Iraq are some of the worst of our generation," she addressed the room. "Medieval types of violence were being committed in which there were slave markets. This is a test not just for the Iraqi government, but for the United Nations and international law."

The attorney is also currently working with a Yazidi refugee named Nadia Murad to help bring justice to her people.

Clooney's presentation at Chatham House echoed her remarks at the United Nations earlier this month, where she urged the organization and its affiliated world leaders to stop letting ISIS "get away with genocide."
