It's unfortunately done. TMZ and E! News are reporting that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have filed for divorce this week.
According to TMZ, their petition and response were filed together, suggesting it was a coordinated effort. Affleck and Garner both want joint legal and physical custody of their children. The two have spoken over the last year about their devotion to co-parenting together.
In March, Affleck revealed he had completed treatment for alcohol addiction and praised Garner for her support in a post on Facebook. He gave a special thanks to "my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I've done the work I set out to do."
The two had been rumoured in March to be calling off their divorce, which they originally announced in June 2015.
