Last week, Jaden Smith underwent an extreme makeover when his dad Will Smith chopped off his dreadlocks and left him with a modest buzzcut. The new look is for Jaden's upcoming film, A Year in the Life, costarring Cara Delevingne, but some keen-eyed fans noticed something: he kind of looks like a young Barack Obama.
The resemblance became even more noticeable after Smith was seen sporting a suit for one of his scenes.
Some noted that he used to look like The Weeknd (or Basquiat) with his old hair.
Others even suggested casting Smith for a future Obama biopic.
We already have a couple biopics featuring Obama as a college student and as a young lawyer—Barry and Southside with You—but if there are directors out there looking to make another, they might want to consider Jaden as a potential star.
