Pretty much everything about Jennifer Lawrence is enviable. Her sense of humour, her talent for acting, her realness and her beauty, to name just a few. And then of course there's her body, too.

Jennifer Lawrence's figure is hailed "normal" in the industry; she's in great shape and her body is refreshingly comparable to many of our own. But in her cover interview for the May issue of Harper's Bazaar, J-Law had a reminder for us all: you don't just get a body like hers by accident.

She works for it, and she works for it "more than a normal person" is able to, because it's part of her job.

"I would like us to make a new normal-body type," she said. "Everybody says, 'We love that there is somebody with a normal body!' And I'm like, 'I don't feel like I have a normal body.' I do Pilates every day. I eat, but I work out a lot more than a normal person."

And her message is a helpful one. Because it reminds us that we shouldn't expect Hollywood bodies to be attainable without some serious, dedicated work involved. Which requires time many of us simply don't have.

Yeah, you definitely need to work out a lot to get a body like that.

And Jennifer added another relevant point, saying:

"I think we've gotten so used to underweight that when you are a normal weight it's like, 'Oh, my God, she's curvy.' Which is crazy."

Crazy indeed, J-Law. It's about time we started getting realistic about our bodies, and not setting expectations which are sky-high, and therefore often unattainable.
