This Mother's Day was also the birthday of Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter, Apple Martin. To celebrate, the actress posted a photo of her daughter on Instagram, and showed the world that Apple might as well be her clone.
On Sunday, Paltrow posted a sweet birthday message for her daughter, who just turned 13. "You light up every room, my heart, the world," she wrote. And commenters couldn't help but notice that little Apple is a total mini-me of her mum.
They also celebrated her birthday (and Mother's Day, too) at the Museum of Ice Cream, accompanied by Paltrow's ex-husband, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, and their son, Moses. It's already clear that Apple inherited her mother's height, too.
And Apple knows how to give her own sweet gift too, writing a punny note to her uom:
But it's clear both Paltrow and Apple take after another matriarch: Gwyneth's mum, Blythe Danner. Here's the two of them in 1985, when Paltrow herself was just 12, and the resemblance to Apple is even more uncanny.
"Happy Mother's Day to this amazing beauty," Paltrow wrote about her mom on Instagram, "and all moms everywhere."
