Harry Styles started his Late Late Show week-long residency last night and while he handled most topics with his signature charm, he did have some trouble keeping chill when rumored ex Kendall Jenner came up. Guest Aaron Taylor-Johnson was talking about his chickens, which he named after the Kardashian family. At the mention of "Kendall," Styles took a big gulp of water:
When Taylor-Johnson said the Kardashian chickens "lay everyday," Styles did it again:
That's when Corden took advantage of the moment and asked Styles the teasing "do they lay everyday, Harry?" At that point, Styles turned his back and literally looked for an escape. It's peak awkward and spectacular. (Interestingly, The Late Late Show took down their clip of it mid-morning.)
Styles, for the most part, has kept quiet about his love life (he just recently opened up about Taylor Swift, his most famous relationship that took place at the end of 2012). In an interview with The Sun published this weekend, Styles was asked if he felt the need to label his sexuality. "No, I've never felt the need to really. No. I don't feel like it's something I've ever felt like I have to explain about myself."
Though he and Jenner have been photographed together, the most he's said about her was the implied suggestion she was the recent girlfriend who inspired a "huge part" of his album. "Sometimes you want to tip the hat, and sometimes you just want to give them the whole cap...and hope they know it's just for them," he told Rolling Stone. Currently, Styles is reportedly dating chef/model Tess Ward while Jenner is rumored to be with A$AP Rocky.
