Priyanka Chopra has said before she wants to be the first female Bond, but expanded on that remark last night when James Corden asked if she wanted to be a Bond girl. "I've always said I prefer to play Bond. I mean you're English. This is kind of the worst environment to sort of say this, in between these two," Chopra said with a laugh, motioning to Corden and British guest Kaya Scodelario.

But to Chopra, a female Bond is more than a part: it's a reflection of where the movie industry is going. "I think I hope in my lifetime I get to see such iconic parts be played by women, you know in a genderless [way]—even if it's not me," she continued. "That would be super cool."
