President Trump is known for his late night Twitter missives, as well as his habit of revising tweets after their initial sending. But as of May 31, 1:35 a.m. EST, a tweet sent from his account still contains the curious word "covfefe."
The tweet reads, "Despite the constant negative press covfefe," and went out early Wednesday morning. His previous Twitter activity included a retweet of a Fox & Friends story about his son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
Naturally, Twitter had a ball with "covfefe," as users tried to make sense of what the president had meant:
