The world's collective Game of Thrones obsession is coming to Harvard this fall when the university will offer a class based on the wildly-popular HBO series.

The class, "The Real Game of Thrones: From Modern Myths to Medieval Models," will be taught by Racha Kirakosian, an assistant professor of German and religion, and Sean Gilsdorf, a professor of medieval studies, The Huffington Post reports.

"When I read medieval verse epics with my students, they'd say, 'Oh, that's like in Game of Thrones," Kirakosian said of the inspiration for the course, which will explore how life in the fictional Westeros compares to the reality of medieval times.

But are those epics really "like Game of Thrones"?

"No, if anything at all, it's the other way around," Kirakosian said. "Isn't it partly our job [as professors] to use that interest and go deeper?"

Yes. Absolutely.
