Facebook has launched a new function where users can offer help to anyone affected by the last night's London Bridge terror attacks.

The new feature allows people to create a post if they want to provide food, a place to stay, a ride home or even a cup of tea. Users can always make blood donations if they wish.

The function also acts as a forum for those seeking help, where users can request food, shelter or transport. Facebook then shares a public post with their location and needs. If someone can help, they'll be able to message you directly from the post.

To use the feature go to the safety check on your mobile where a message will appear - "find or provide help to your community". Click on which option applies - either "find help" or "provide help" - select which category you can offer or need help in. It will then appear as a side bar on the safety check-in page.

Seven were killed and 48 injured in last night's tragic attacks, which took place in the London Bridge area. Londoners have already offered free accommodation and transport for those in need.
