Richard Angell describes enjoying a gin and tonic with friends when the incident, that has so far claimed seven lives and injured 50, occurred.

In the interview, Angell says: 'If me having a G&T with my friends and flirting with handsome men is what offends these people so much, I'm going to do it more, not less.

'Because that's what makes London so great, it makes us the best city in the world. We're going to go out and enjoy it more. And I'm more determined than ever to love the city that looks after me. The emergency services were just phenomenal. They were there in seconds and kept us safe,' he added.

Describing the bravery of the police and ambulance services who may have saved his life, Angel insisted he wouldn't be put off enjoying his life as normal by the 'small-minded, cowardly people' who carried out the attack.

He joins the man fleeing the scene while protecting his pint as a symbol of London's spirit at this dark time for the city.
