After the horrific bombing at Ariana Grande's Manchester concert on May 22, the pop star planned One Love Manchester, a benefit concert for the victims and their families. Performers including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, and Coldplay joined her on stage for a moving, star-studded show.

Not only was the concert an incredible show of solidarity by the people of Manchester and the musicians who contributed, but it also helped raised a staggering sum for those affected by the tragedy.

Before the concert, the British Red Cross had already raised £7.3 million (about US$9.4 million).

And afterwards, the British Red Cross tweeted that £2.35 million (about US$3 million) had been raised during the show—bringing the total to £9.65 million (US$12.4 million).
