Selena Gomez and The Weeknd's are extremely into one another right now. So it shouldn't be surprising that Gomez opened up about her relationship while appearing on On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Friday.
Discussing the couple's decision to go public with their relationship, Gomez said, "I just want to be happy. If that's me just being myself, then I don't really care." And it certainly seems as though her decision has paid off, as both Gomez and The Weeknd look incredibly happy in every photo taken of them together.
Gomez also revealed to Seacrest that she doesn't feel the need to hide anymore, as she's comfortable in her career, and in her own skin. She said, "Because I've been doing this for so long, I don't feel like there's anything that I would want to … not necessarily hide, but I'm genuinely myself."
The "Bad Liar" singer explained that life is too short to be in hiding, and said, "It's too much pressure, and I think everyone gets over everything eventually."
