Ruh roh!

Wonder Woman continues to kill it at the box office — it raked in 16 million last Friday alone and had the smallest box office drop in a superhero film since Batman Begins — and it looks like Warner Bros. is gonna pay a price for not believing in the power of ladies.

As Business Insider reports, the studio didn't sign director Patty Jenkins to a two picture deal, and fans are practically busting down their doors begging for a sequel to the smash hit. That means if they want Patty back on — and let's be real, they would be fools not to — that means they're gonna PAY$$$ for her.

From Business Insider:

Warner Bros. would have better footing in its sequel negotiations had it locked down Jenkins before the release of "Wonder Woman," but now the leverage is clearly on Jenkins' side. And Jenkins is certainly up for another movie. She told Business Insider during a Facebook Live interview: "I would love to, and we're all definitely excited about it."

And, again, it would make sense to lock down Patty for the sequel ASAP, since Wonder Woman has a 92-percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and fans of all ages cannot get enough of Gal Gadot and her merry band of misfits.

Requests for the second movie: More Etta Candy, more Themyscira, more fight scenes, and yeah. More of everything. Also: More superhero movies starring and directed by women, in general! Let's go, Hollywood. Lock it down now!
