Though it seems we haven't seen much of the actor lately, he was spotted on Wednesday in London—where he's promoting Despicable Me 3—looking like silver fox straight out of a J.Crew catalogue.
A fitting reaction in this case might be, "Daaaamn."
Carell layered a navy sweater over a dark chambray shirt, paired with chinos pressed to the nines and brown leather sneakers. And he didn't slack on the accessories. Look at those tortoiseshell shades (and the pair of reading specs he's clutching in his hand just in case) and that silver watch.
In other words, he looks perfectly dressed for your imaginary brunch date, boat trip or romantic stroll. (He and his wife Nancy have been happily married since 1995, so we'll just respectfully daydream from afar.)
The internet was also shocked by the photos, in a good way.
