According to TV Line, X-Files creator Chris Carter has hired Season 10 writing room veterans Darin Morgan, Glen Morgan, and James Wong—and also went ahead and scooped up three new writers, all of whom are men, one of whom has never written for a show before, and two of whom were former assistants. Because why hire super-qualified female writers, when you could just hire a bunch of semi-qualified guys! 😡 😡 😡.

Also, is now a good time to bring up the fact that Gillian Anderson was offered half David Duchovny's salary for last year's reboot? BRB, need to scream.
