They've supported one another's achievements on their individual Instagram stories (The Weeknd's Forbes cover for Gomez, Gomez's Coach campaign for The Weeknd). And this afternoon, they appear to be working together to promote Gomez's latest single on the 'gram:

Gomez just posted a new photo of herself, which The Weeknd promptly liked and commented "fetish"—an allusion to Gomez's upcoming song that she teased at the end of her "Bad Liar" video.

(Gomez and The Weeknd were also rumored to have recorded music together. This song may not be it, but the potential is there...)

Gomez then posted three images captioned "Fetish," confirming the veracity of the The Weeknd's comment:
