Mindy Kaling is expecting her first child, E! Online is reporting. Multiple sources confirmed the actress's pregnancy to the outlet. One source said it was "an unexpected surprise" but no changes would be made to Kaling's production schedule.
Kaling, as E! points out, told Yahoo! Style back in September 2015 that she would love to have kids "maybe imminently."
"I think I've decided that unlike everything else in my life, I'm going to be fast and loose about kids. I'm going to not actively plan, but if it happens, it would happen."
