Let's face it: People have become obsessed with 13 Reasons Why. But even some stans can find the show quite difficult to digest. From bringing difficult topics to the surface such as suicide and rape, the series manages to be addicting and captivating, while garnering scrutiny that it's problematic at times.

However, when Selena stopped by The Elvis Duran Show, she claimed that although the first season was very controversial, she reassures us that season 2 is "going to be different." She claims, "I went to the writers' room the other day and I felt like I was watching a movie because I was freaking out on where [Hannah and Dylan] are going, and [Season 2] is actually really encouraging and empowering."

We're of happy to know that Selena is thinking about the way the series is resonating with teens around the world. We're counting on you, Sel!
