Prince George might have started off the royal tour on the wrong foot. Earlier this week, he was caught misbehaving when he landed with his family in Warsaw, and then two days later, he made a sleepy arrival to Berlin. But today, he finally found the highlight of the trip when he explored some helicopters.

Before concluding their five-day trip to Poland and Germany, the royal family stopped to look at some choppers before taking off from the Hamburg airport. Three-year-old George, a die-hard helicopter fan, could not contain himself.

"George was excited, with the first helicopter he wanted to sit in the cockpit and then he wanted to sit in the next one, he already knew there was a difference between them," Antoine van Gent, Airbus' head of flight testing, told The Telegraph.

His father, Prince Willian, who used to work as a search and rescue ambulance pilot, showed George the ropes.

The Duke of Cambridge also helped his son try on a helmet.

And because just one helicopter isn't enough for George, they explored a second model, too.

Princess Charlotte appeared to be enjoying the visit as well, but nothing could beat Prince George's pure, unadulterated excitement.
