This weekend, Charlize Theron took the stage at San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H as the focus of the first Icon Edition of Entertainment Weekly's annual Women Who Kick Ass panel. During the conversation with EW's Sara Vilkomerson, one of Theron's favorite collaborators came up—Patty Jenkins.

Jenkins, if you don't already know, directed a little movie called Wonder Woman, and she's expected to return to helm its recently-confirmed sequel. Jenkins couldn't be at the panel herself, but she sent a note for Theron, with whom she worked on 2003's Monster, for Vilkomerson to read:

"Getting to work with Charlize and what we did together will always be remembered as a great high point of my life. She's a tremendous person, talent, artist, and actor, but also a wonderful and incredibly unique spirit who brings that dynamism to every part she plays. She's hard, yet soft, tough, yet yielding. It was a wonderful and rare gift and I can't wait to work with my friend again one day."

Theron practically teared up on stage at the heartfelt message and, of course, Vilkomerson had to hint that working together again could mean a turn as an Amazon for Theron. For her part, Theron seems more than game.

"Now that we've, in our separate ways warmed up, we're gonna do it," she said. "Yeah. Look I would love to work with her again. I had such an incredible time. I trusted her from the first time I met her. That's a big thing for an actor, to be able to trust your director that way and she just never disappointed...She's incredible so to see her have this moment, I just feel incredibly happy for her."

Someone please cast Charlize Theron in Wonder Woman 2 STAT.
