Cara Delevingne's been a busy bee of late. Not only has she been promoting her new film, ValerianValerian, and working on her first single, but she's also just launched her own docuseries with Puma where she aims to empower young women.

Her first four installments, which cover bullying, poetry and self defence, each profile inspiring women who tell their story of bravery and confidence. In the fourth episode, the model-cum-actress meets Dr. Ryhana Dawood, the founder and instructor of Martial Smarts, who gives her a powerful lesson in self-defence.

"One in three women are attacked and abused in their lifetime," says Delevingne. "We all have a right to feel safe. It's a basic human right and it's empowering to learn how to protect yourself."

Watch Delevingne learn some of the basic tools of self-defence in the video above.
