Update, September 6, 2017: People is now additionally confirming that the surrogate that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have hired to carry their third child is pregnant.
'The entire family is over the moon. Kim had been looking for a surrogate for months until recently when she found the perfect candidate,' a source told People.
'They want everything to be perfect and for the baby to be extremely healthy. They don't want any complications and Kim is providing an ideal eating regimen and diet so everyone knows what the baby is consuming before it's born.' The outlet didn't specify an exact due date in its report.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their third child in January 2018, Us Weekly is reporting. This time around, the couple is using a surrogate as a third pregnancy was deemed too unsafe for Kardashian, who suffered from placenta accreta during her previous deliveries.
The couple began their search in June, and their pick, a San Diego mom in her late 20s referred by an agency, is three months along. The woman has served as a surrogate before and appeared in a promotional video about the process with her own family.
