This August marks one whole year of Instagram Stories. To celebrate the special anniversary of us all losing countless hours watching celebrities, models and influencers on an endless loop of videos, Instagram released a list of the top 15 fashion industry accounts on Stories.
In a surprising turn of events, the number one spot didn't go to a Kardashian/Jenner or a Hadid, but to Emily Ratajkowski. (Though considering the model's series of picture-perfect vacation Instagrams all summer long, it's actually not much of a surprise.)
Coming in the second and third spots were Chiara Ferragni and Candice Swanepoel, respectively. As BoF points out, the only fashion brands to make the list were Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Christian Louboutin. Despite the fact that luxury brands may have more followers, models and bloggers performed higher in terms of engagement on Stories (the outfit posts, bikini pics and candid clips probably have a little something to do with it).
