Last November, Jennifer Lawrence was photographed kissing 48-year-old director Darren Aronofsky, confirming the rumors that the two were dating. And, as J.Law confirms in a new interview, it's been almost a year now since they've started their relationship. They got together after shooting for the movie they did together, Mother!, finished at the end of August 2016.

"We had energy," Lawrence said, adding dryly, "I had energy for him. I don't know how he felt about me." She then proceeded to gush a bit about him.

Aronofsky is an "amazing father" to his son with Rachel Weisz, J.Law said. When she saw Mother!, "I was reminded all over again how brilliant he is. For the past year, I've been dealing with him as just a human." His directness is refreshing. "I've been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I'm never confused with him."

Lawrence also says that she likes Aronofsky, who is 22 years her senior, despite one seemingly major flaw: The fact that he went to Harvard. "I normally don't like Harvard people, because they can't go two minutes without mentioning that they went to Harvard. He's not like that."

It's not perfect though J.Law will concede: Aronofsky is not a fan of reality television or her obsession with it. "He just finds it so vastly disappointing," she said and then laughed.
