Four People Have Been Arrested for Leaking a Game of Thrones Episode

Four people in India have been arrested for leaking a recent Game of Thrones episode. Season Seven's fourth episode "The Spoils of War" was leaked online two days before its airdate, and the leak was traced back to Star India, one of HBO's international distributors.

Per EW, via a report from Agency France-Presse, the case was filed by the Mumbai-based company responsible for storing and processing Game of Thrones episodes for release on an app. The four individuals are accused of "criminal breach of trust and computer-related offenses."

This leak is not related to the cyber-attack on HBO by a group of hackers, who yesterday leaked upcoming episodes of several shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Ballers, and Insecure.
