The first solar eclipse in a century took place in the U.S. today. A CENTURY! That is so exciting! So exciting that it makes you almost want to go outside and look directly at it, but no! You can't do that as many, many, many, many, many, many, many experts reminded us today, because looking directly at the sun during an eclipse can seriously damage your eyes. This fact was so pervasive that the internet was a'meme about it.
