Taylor Swift's first single from her new album Reputation is finally here. As fans everywhere continue to freak out the singer's 'Look What You Made Me Do' announcement, there's already speculation about when Taylor might go on tour and most importantly, how to buy tickets.

Before we get too excited, it's worth noting that tour dates are yet to be announced, but it does look like concerts will be happening in the near future.

As soon as the single dropped, Swift also launched her Taylor Swift Tix website in conjunction with Ticketmaster's Verified Fan feature. This allows fans to pre-register for the opportunity to buy tickets, giving them a much better chance of eventually getting their hands on them when they do go on sale, rather than scalpers or bots.

How does it work? First, fans will first have to register with the 'Taylor Swift Tix' portal using their Ticketmaster account, before choosing their preferred city to see a show.

Fans will then be asked to complete a number of "boost activities" to secure the best place in the queue for tickets. These activities include pre-ordering Swift's album, buying Reputation merchandise or watching the 'Look What You Made Me Do' lyric video.

By carrying out these tasks, people will be rewarded with "boosts" to get higher up the priority list, which could be a savvy move for loyal fans who don't want to miss out on watching Taylor in concert.

The only downside? As expected, the Tix website has been inundated with "extreme fan activity" since Taylor's first single went live. Still, registration is open until 28 November, so there's still plenty of time to sign-up and over-analyse the pop star's vindictive 'Look What You Made Me Do' lyrics in the meantime.
