As you look forward to the new music releases of fall, don't be so quick to forget some of the best music of the summer, namely, Lana Del Rey's Lust for Life album.
Nearly two months after dropping the highly-anticipated record, Del Rey debuted the video for "White Mustang" today. It channels the singer's signature signature retro aesthetic while incorporating modern elements like a futuristic LA skyline in the background.
In the clip, Del Rey re-considers her relationship with her rockstar boyfriend (played by Icelandic actor Eðvarð Egilsson, Rolling Stone reports) and takes off for a late night drive before dancing with him in the street and ultimately pushing him away. The song only takes up about half of the video; the rest is soundtracked by a mariachi band.
