Bella Hadid stepped in to protect a female photographer who was purportedly pushed away by an over-zealous male security guard.
The 20-year-old model was surrounded by photographers and fans as she left the Michael Kors show during New York Fashion Week yesterday afternoon when a scuffle broke seemed to break out between security and paparazzi.
Bella immediately reached out towards the security guard and politely instructed him not to touch the photographer, before checking she was OK.
The star intervened and was heard shouting: "Hey! Can you please not touch her!"
Bella continued to warn him not to touch the photographer as she walked away to her car. He denied any physical altercation with the photographer.
It's been a very busy week so far for Hadid who has walked the runways for designers including Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, and Alexander Wang. She's been sure to thank each designer with individual posts on Instagram.
Bella also stepped in for big sister Gigi earlier this week when Gigi misplaced her shoe on the catwalk for Anna Sui. Bella put her arm around Gigi to help her balance as she strutted in just one gold platform sandal, and the pair closed the show together.
Meanwhile, she recently confirmed that she will walk the Victoria Secret runway in December, writing in a post on Instagram: "I feel so crazy humbled to get the opportunity to be a part of this show again...
"Walking into the offices this year I felt so happy, healthy, and honoured.. I can't wait for another incredible experience!!! Congrats to all of the beautiful ladies I will be walking beside. I can't wait!"
