Teyana Taylor is strutting her way into your Netflix account. The singer, dancer, and NYFW breakout star has landed a role in The After Party, a hip-hop flick slated to premiere in 2018 on the streaming service. Blair Underwood (Quantico), French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, and rapper Kyle will costar.

The movie follows two best friends hoping to score a record deal on their last night together before one goes to college and the other joins the military. "In one wild night, a lot will go down before the sun comes up and these two lifelong friends either have succeeded on their quest or must go their separate ways," a description from Deadline reads.

Russell Simmons and Worldstar Hip-Hop's Lee "Q" O'Denat are among the long list of producers working on the project. Ian Edelman (How to Make It in America) will direct and write the screenplay. O'Denat was actually inspired by classics like Ferris Bueller's Day Off and American Graffiti to create a coming-of-age film his own.

We can't wait to watch Teyana's fierceness from the comfort of our own couches when this flick comes out.
