Imagine a scenario where Donald Trump gatecrashed your wedding. Well, that's exactly the situation a bride and groom were faced with last Saturday, after the US President stopped by to say hello.
Trump was in the area after having attended a presentation at his golf course in New Jersey, where he dedicated the winning trophy to the hurricane victims of Puerto Rico, Texas and Florida. Before he made his exit and returned to the White House, the president popped into a wedding reception that was taking place on the golf course.
The brother of the bride shared two pictures of the proceeds on Instagram, although they've since been deleted. Fortunately, a beady-eyed Twitter user screengrabbed them and shared for all to see.
For the bridal party, Trump's arrival seems to have added to the day rather than ruined it.
This isn't the first time that the US President has turned up uninvited at a wedding. In August this year, while on holiday at the same golf course, he invaded another set of nuptials. One guest described him as "less orange than expected".
