Amal Clooney is already killing the game as a human rights attorney, as she fights to hold ISIS accountable for warcrimes and genocide; but could a career in politics also be in her future? A fellow attorney believes so.

Helena Kennedy, a British barrister in the Queen's Council, told Daily Mail that Clooney "would make a great baroness" (AKA a female member of the UK Parliament's House of Lords).

"She's an incredibly bright woman," she added. "The only justification for being appointed to the second chamber is if you can bring to it special expertise, and that can be of all different kinds. And Amal certainly has expertise."

Kennedy is a founding member at Doughty Street Chambers, where Clooney works in London. She added that her fellow barrister could pursue the role in Parliament once her newly-welcomed twins are a bit older. "Just now, she's got two small babies, so she's too busy and has lots of cases," she said. "But in time, she would be great."

She also praised the human rights as a "fantastic role model for women."

"Girls should aspire to her," Kennedy added. "She's so intelligent. People go on about her bagging George Clooney, but you know what? George Clooney is the one who got lucky."
