Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds take extra steps to make sure they and their kids are always together, even while they're working on films. The actress revealed that she and her husband make sure their shooting schedules don't overlap, and usually travel with the kids to each other's filming locations.

"My husband and I don't work at the same time, so we all go together as a family," she told People. "If we're away as a family, it's never more than for a day. We stay together."

For example, Lively and their two daughters, James, 2, and Ines, 1, traveled to Vancouver when Reynolds was filming Deadpool. "We're here as a family, then we'll pack up, and I'll go do a couple movies," the actress told Glamour at the time.

Lively also kept the family close while filming hew newest project, All I See Is You, which started just four months after she gave birth to her younger daughter. Nevertheless, the newborn was with her on location—sometimes even on set—so they didn't have to be far apart.

"I'm not in an office where I can't do that, so she's either with me or when I'm shooting a scene, she's one room away," she added to People. "If she really needs me, I can pop over there."

Lively explained her Glamour cover story that "what fulfills both me and my husband is our family. Knowing that, everything else comes second. We've each given up stuff we loved in order to not work at the same time."
