In her new film, All I See Is You, Blake Lively plays a blind woman, Gina, who regains her sight after undergoing a miraculous procedure. However, being able to see again has some profound effects on her relationship with her husband, James (Jason Clarke), on whom she heavily depended while she was blind. Gina's new life leads to newfound independence, hedonism, and sexual freedom, which makes makes James feel threatened.

The couple addresses the new nature of their relationship in a new clip. Over dinner, James asks Gina to dress appropriately for a work event they're attending so "the whole department" won't end up eyeing and making comments about "James's wife." She gets offended.

"Did you love me before?" Gina asks, questioning whether her husband's feelings for her changed after her eye surgery.

"I can ask you the same thing," James replies.
