Sarah Hyland took a stand on Twitter last night against tabloid Life & Style after it tweeted that her friend Taylor Swift was 'sparking #plasticsurgery rumors.'

And she didn't mince her words: 'CAN YOU FUCKING STOP?!?! Let's empower women instead of judging their looks," Hyland wrote. "There's more to us than that. Guess you can't teach stupid...'

Hyland had already taken on the outlet last week, when it ran an article questioning whether she'd had plastic surgery. 'I have had the worst medical year of my life and to create an entire article surrounding the question of if I've had plastic surgery is the MOST insulting thing,' she wrote in a tweet. 'You have NO IDEA what I have been through. And I have somewhat addressed these rumours already. People like you are the reason why young girls feel the need to alter their face. MY face has been altered by LIFE SAVING medication. Take your 'journalism' and use it for some good. FOR ONCE.'

The outlet added Hyland's statement to their article but left the piece itself up.

So Hyland responded with some further 'salty' tweets of her own, first reassuring her fans that she wasn't hurt by the article, then joked about her so-called "double chin":
