It's been almost one year since the presidential election in 2016, and a lot has changed since then, to say the least. Today, a bulk of special elections takes place—in Georgia, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Utah—and some people are having déjà vu. The big difference, however, is that this time around, voters are scarred from 2017's jarring news cycle and are desperate to make a change.
