Earlier this week, the CEO of Taylor Swift's record company, Big Machine Records, helped spark rumors that Selena Gomez and Swift may have a duet together on Reputation by just tagging Gomez in a tweet about Reputation and its Target magazine coming. Swift released the official tracklist last night, and Gomez isn't listed on it as a collaborator (but Ed Sheeran and Future are).

Nothing's official until Friday....although a new interview with Gomez with Brazilian journalist Hugo Gloss may have just killed the rumor for now. Gomez was asked about working with Swift, and she tactfully shut down the idea there's any song imminently coming.

"I love Taylor. She's been my sister for years," Gomez said around the 5:00 mark below. "As far as working together, I think that's always something we've talked about but our friendship has always been most important. So not to say that we never will—I would love to. I love her. I love her music. We'll see, right? I don't know, maybe. What I'm saying is not right now." They do say good things come to those who wait.
