What was life like for the Stranger Things cast before they made it to the big league with the Netflix show? According to The Late Late Show, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp were part of a Motown cover band called the Upside Downs and yes, James Corden was also part of it. In a VH1 Behind the Music-esque retrospective of their (fictional) singing careers, it's revealed that the Upside Downs enjoyed small gigs at high school proms, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, and retirement homes, before everyone got the call for Stranger Things. Everyone but James. The group reunited on Wednesday's Late Late Show, performing a smashing medley of Jackson 5, The Temptations, and the Four Tops.

If you're not crying happy tears by the end of their performance, perhaps you should join the Shadow Monster in the Upside Down. I don't know if it's the fact that these adorable friends are back on TV again, or maybe it's their dancing and matching suits—this 3-minute mini concert is just a joy to watch. Honestly, if Max had seen this, maybe she would have had a harder time deciding between Dustin and Lucas.
