Following today's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss, and more of the Victoria's Secret Angels went to the official after party starting at 9 p.m. But according to Women's Wear Daily, the party would be cut short by Chinese authorities hours later, at 11:50 p.m.

The music was cut suddenly right before midnight, WWD reported—not too long after the party's DJ Victor Aime started playing. As the outlet wrote, police then broke the festivities up:

"They want us to finish. We are sorry, we tried," said a woman who had been directing the crowd to disperse over the microphone. A number of uniformed police officers had started to make their way in to the venue at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

This isn't the only issue the VS team faced in China this year. Most visibly, Gigi Hadid and Katy Perry, who had been booked to model and perform, were reportedly denied visas and had to drop out last minute. Page Six additionally reported that some members of the VS staff believed the Chinese authorities were monitoring their emails.
