Last week, rumours circulated that the Spice Girls were planning to reunite for a one-off television special and a compilation album. However, Victoria Beckham has now come forward to say that this isn't true and that the band won't be coming back together.
"It is not happening," she told ITV's This Morning. "At some point, you've got to know when it's time say, 'That was great'. Girl power will always be out there and is something that we all believe in."
While fans of the iconic Nineties band will no doubt be disappointed at the news, Beckham was keen to stress that she still believes in feminism and "girl power" and this is what she continues to practice in her career, but she does it through fashion, not music.
"What I do now is still all about girl power, but it's empowering women through fashion," she said.
It has not been confirmed by any other members of the band if the reported reunion will take place without Beckham.
