1. Boys probably don't deserve you.
'They have to kind, respectful. They have to be chivalrous, they have to be good to their moms.'
2. Be educated.
'When I was growing up it was 'Just say no' ... just know exactly what you're doing.'
3. Be weird.
'It's very boring to be normal.'

4. There's no success without failure.
Try things! 'When she finds the thing that she loves, no matter what it is I'll support her in it.'
5. Don't say mean things.
'I have a rule ... We don't say mean things and we don't say things we don't mean.'
6. Remember that words are powerful.
'I try to watch how I talk about myself around her.'
7. Be true to yourself.
'I want her to speak her truth.'
