On December 27, former President Barack Obama tweeted a family picture captioned: 'On behalf of the Obama family, Merry Christmas! We wish you joy and peace this holiday season.'
Though the picture, which features Barack, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and a bunch of little helper elves, was likely from a previous year, the internet still mourned the Obamas' absence.
Several replies to the above tweet just read "WE MISS YOU." Others elaborated:
Not that anyone's counting, but Obama's tweet has about 200,000 more retweets than any of Donald Trump's Christmas-related ones. Hope everyone had a great holiday. :)
