Margot Robbie is often described as one of the most down-to-earth actresses in Hollywood – and the latest story to be making the rounds about her definitely proves that to be true.
The A-list actress is currently spending some time at home in Australia before she hits the award season circuit, which kicks off this weekend with the Golden Globes.
During her time at home, she apparently got an Uber with her husband Tom Ackerley and invited the driver to come to a house party with them, The Independent reports.
Robert Bregnsdal wrote on his Facebook page that when he picked up a woman called 'Sophia' on the Gold Coast, he did not expect it to be one of the most famous women in the world.
However, after the drive, he soon suspected that Robbie – who was clearly going by an alias – was in fact The Wolf of Wall Street actress. Even better, she had invited him to the house party she was on the way to.
"[I] can confirm it was her and her boyfriend/husband...probably one of the nicest I've met and very down to earth," Bregnsdal claimed. "After [the drive] she invited me to come to the house party I said no 'cause I was going to see Star Wars with the boys. Her husband kind of chuckled like 'Ha ha, you don't realise who we are'. Afterwards, I was like FML."
Although Bregnsdal might be disappointed, this definitely gives us hope that we might one day actually be able to party with Robbie and Ackerley.
