Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning to swap London for a more rural setting.

Rumors are rife that the couple have their hearts set on Beaconsfield Farm, a run-down Roman villa set in the Cotswolds, which is an idyllic rural area in the south of England.

The picturesque cottage is very close to Chipping Norton, where David and Victoria Beckham are currently busy renovating a $7 million property. Conveniently, celebrity hotspot Soho Farmhouse, where Harry and Meghan enjoyed a handful of secret dates, is only a short drive away.

But the farm house is no easy feat, as locals emphasize that the property needs some serious work before it can compete with the couple's current royal residence, Nottingham Cottage.

A source revealed: "The understanding is that Harry's seriously thinking of taking on Beaconsfield Farm. It's a right old mess at the moment though—it's full of mud. It's a couple of barns I think. He'll have to do it up."

The source continued: "All I know is Harry is buying in the area. I wouldn't want to say anything more than that."

Kensington Palace has yet to comment on the rumored move.
